Aimee Sprung is a Director on the State Government Affairs team at Microsoft. In this role, Aimee advocates for responsible use of AI, privacy and increasing access to skills to address workforce needs in the New England states. Aimee serves as the state policy lead for Microsoft Elevate, the company’s AI skilling initiative that provides free training, credentials, and career readiness resources to help learners and workers succeed in an AI‑powered economy.
Aimee has held roles at Microsoft focused on digital transformation for Microsoft’s broadband initiative, Civic engagement in Boston, marketing to Academic (K-12) and US Federal Government audiences. Prior to her 24 years at Microsoft, Aimee was the Marketing Director at Information Strategies – a software development company and Microsoft partner in Washington, DC.
Aimee serves on the Board of Advisors at the Museum of Science, the Board of Directors for the Associated Industries of Massachusetts (AIM), the Board of Advisors for the Boston Area Research Initiative (BARI) and is the Clerk for Newton Youth Hockey.
She graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a major in Art History and a minor in Business. Aimee currently resides in Newton, MA with her husband, Eric, two sons, Alex (20) & Noah (17) and their dog, Penny.
